EPS: La calotta interna realizzata in EPS (polistirene espanso) è progettata per assorbire gli impatti. Vicino alla testa, questo strato deve essere il più morbido possibile e assicurare la massima protezione.
Per ottimizzare la capacità di assorbimento, Bell utilizza una struttura a multipla densità che distribuisce le forze in modo lineare, strato per strato, come una calotta esterna. La densità è più importante all’esterno e più morbida all’interno.
